Hobby
COMIC/ANIME:
I have grown up, in realtime, reading and seeing the Mighty Atom,
which was transported to western world and known as an Astroboy.
Mighy Atom, created by
Tezuka Osamu,
is the most famous comic hero in Japan.
The late Tezuka Osamu is a founder of story comics in Japan
and also a father of ANIME and JAPANIMATION.
My best 3 animations are:
- "Urusei Yatsura"
- "Mobile Suit Gundam"
- "Naausica in the Valley of the Wind"
- "Top wo Nerae (OVA)"
My recent favorites are as follows:
- Comics by Siro Masamune (especially, "Appleseed", "Ghost in the Shell")
- Minako Uchida "Boom Town":
Pop stories of debuggers in the virtual town BT.
- Of course, NEON GENESIS EVANGELION:
Video on sale
- Yoko Kamio "Hanayori Dango":
Comical love stories in the high school.
TV show and anime were also made.
- Keiko Takemiya "Tenma no Ketsuzoku":
Science fiction comic presented by the Japanese famous female writer.
Yuki Hijiri "Lock the Superman":
He returns! 'Mirror Ring' is now printed.
Science Fiction:
I favor science fiction stories
since my childfood.
My best 3 science fictions are:
- Isaac Asimov "Foundation" series
- Arther C. Clarke "Space Odessay 2001"
- Komatsu Sakyo "Toward the end of the endless flow"
- Ryu Mitsuse "Ten billions days and hundred billions nights"
My recent favorites are as follows:
- Stephen Baxter "Timelike Infinity", "Ring"
- David Brin "Earth"
- John Cramer "Twistor"
Astronomy:
I like the space and the universe since my childfood.
Enchanced by the science fiction (comic),
the astronomy is my work now.
Sake:
Beer is KIRIN lager,
Sake is cold GINJO,
Wine is white,
Cocktail is kahlua milk, vodka base, and so on.
That's are favorites.
Music:
I favor pops and anime music.
My favorite artists are, e.g.,
Arai Yumi, Southern All Stars, JUDY AND MARY and others.
Video/Computer Game:
When I entered the graduate school,
Space Invader became popular.
Since then, I have been enjoying
Video game, Famicon/Nintendo, Superfamicon/Nintendo,
Sony Playstation (32bit game machine),
Segasaturn (32bit game machine).
My recent favorites are as follows:
- Genso Suikoden(PS):
This is an orthodox RPG game.
But both the graphic and game balance are nice.
- BIOHAZARD(PS):
This is an action adventure with great horror.
This game is very unique and I play many times.
Part II coming soon!
- DOOM(PS):
Shooting, shooting, and shooting.
- Panzer Dragoon(SS):
This is a shooting game.
Fly feeling and graphic are nice.
- NEON GENESIS EVANGELION(SS):
I keep this in order to play
after I will see all the original animation.
- OverBlood(PS):
This is also a horror-type adventure game.
- ALIEN TORILOGY(PS):
Shooting game based upon the famous movie ALIEN.
I do not clear this yet.
- Creature Shock(PS):
Althought the CG animation is good,
the controller balance is not so good.
- Sakura War(SS):
Oh! I have no time to do this game, which may be expectable!
This is wonderful, greatest, fantastic...

Popularization
In order to popularize science and astronomy,
let us try and try and try,
using all the media,
including books, VTR and/or TV,
CD-ROM software, WWW, and so on.
But the way is steep and the goal is far away.
ad astra per aspera
